Intervista a Catherine Geel
Catherine Geel è professore presso il French National Schools of Art e insegna storia e teoria del design presso l'ENSAD Nancy, l'ENS Paris-Saclay e la Sciences Po Paris. È ricercatrice associata presso il Centre de recherche en design (ENS Paris-Saclay -Ensci-Les Ateliers) e membro di comitati o consigli scientifici (la rivista bilingue franco-svizzera di ricerca "Raddar", consiglio scientifico della Cité du design ecc. ).
Ha fondato T&P Work UNit, un'unità di lavoro su testi e progetti in design, con Marie Lejault e Sophie Breuil.
Nel 2019, Catherine Geel è curatrice del padiglione francese alla Triennale del Design di Milano. A settembre 2019, è autrice dei testi di textes du design commentés par Catherine Geel... (Parigi: IFM / Regard), Extended French Theory and the Design Field...On Nature and Ecology. A Reader (T&P Work Unit) e Staatliches Bauhaus cent pour cent, con 50 collaboratori francesi (designer, artisti grafici, teorici ecc.).
