Branca Dining Table

The Branca Dining Table was designed as a solution to Molteni&C's brief, for a thin and elegant extendable dining table, like their existing Filigree table. After a lot of research on existing mechanisms, we decided to simplify the entire process of extension, so as to allow customers to easily work with the product. The name of the table is derived from the die-casted recycled aluminium built legs, that "branch" out from the bottom to create a frame around the table top. The extension mechanism is a simple 'slide, pop and lock', and care was taken to design the thin table top with materials and finishes that fit into Molteni&C's collection and philosophies.
