Post Design presents flip-flop
Post Design was created in 1997 from the brand Memphis, conceived by Alberto Bianchi Albrici with Ettore Sottsass, Post Design has showcased Sottsass’s most recent works and the collections of international designers, including household names like Nathalie Du Pasquier, Alessandro Mendini, Nanda Vigo and Alberto Biagetti. These pieces boast modern silhouettes and bold color combinations and are characterized by impeccable artisanal craftsmanship and contemporary creativity, and are showcased in the eponymous gallery in Milan.
For Artemest Virtual Craft Week, Post Design presents flip-flop, a new collection of carpets and ceramics designed by Roger Selden, an artist known for his abstract works using collage, mixed technique and screen printing. Crossing the boundaries between design, painting and sculpture, Selden has designed carpets as canvases and ceramics as sculptures: carpets, hand-woven in Nepal according to the ancient Tibetan traditions, and vases handmade by the famous ceramic artisans in Nove di Bassano, Italy.
