In 2020, held a exhibition "SNIP SNAP WALL ART MUSEUM BY YURI HIMURO The story hidden in textiles." at SFT gallery in National art center Tokyo Museum, Museum shop.

YURI HIMURO is a brand that develops playful textiles presided by textile designer Yuri Himuro. This exhibition is centered on art panels created with "SNIP SNAP", a fabric that can be used to arrange patterns by cutting the surface threads with scissors. The panels can be enjoyed as wall art and are exhibited for sale.

All art panels were manually cut by the designer herself in her atelier, so while the materials can be the same, there are no two identical pieces. Please come to find your own favorite wall art among the pieces on the wall.

Yuri Himuro is a textile designer who studied textile design in both Japan and Finland. She designs textiles from a weaving system that brings out the surprises and pleasure found in the interacting of people and textiles. Previously YURI was selected as American design magazine Dwellʼs “Young Guns 2017”. She has been presented with the “Young Designer Award” 2017 in a Japanese design tradeshow called IFFT / Interior Lifestyle Living. Salone Satellite Award 2018 THIRD PRIZE.
