After the crisis, the essential role of the Art and Design professions

Le Mobilier national mobilizes and announces its support measures

Since the 17th century, Le Mobilier national and its prestigious manufactures have been creating tapestries, carpets and furniture that bear witness to the excellence of French craftsmanship. As a department of the Ministry of Culture, it also has the task of conserving and restoring its collections, a task that its workshops carry out using exceptional know-how. The Mobilier National is at the heart of an ecosystem bringing together nearly 500 partners - craftsmen, manufacturers, publishers, designers, creators, interior architects -, an ecosystem that is particularly threatened by the crisis.

This crisis is threatening art and design professions, which are nevertheless powerful assets in economic, cultural and social terms.

ENCOURAGE women and men with the know-how essential to the transmission of our priceless intangible heritage

PRESERVE exceptional manual trades, bearers of values that are particularly sought after in times of crisis, when individuals are thinking of giving more meaning to their professional activity.

PROVIDE THE MEANS for this transmission and for the development of a sector of the future, creating jobs in France and promoting our talents internationally.

HELP a generation of designers to think "the next world" and to anticipate our uses in all social fields (public spaces, transport, hospitals, etc.).

THREE LEVERS ARE GOING TO BE OPERATED :
