Shaping the Future of Design
How Product Designers are exploring digital spaces to create and collaborate in the face of change
Disruptive situations like Covid-19 have the potential to accelerate change and redefine workflows. To be able to develop the right answers to the new situation and continue with their projects, designers had to find ways to reconnect and intensify professional collaboration, all while keeping the physical distance. Bringing the design workflow to the digital space is a logical step.
Working in the digital space allows creatives to include more people, ideas and experiences in the design process without blocking the creative flow. This leads to a deeper understanding and better concepts which results in designs that are more inclusive, more sustainable and more relevant.
Alice Barki and Alessio Tommasetti will show us how to develop the Design project while working from two different cities. Their setup in Milan and Rome is identical and includes a Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 Touch pen display linked to a Wacom MobileStudio Pro workstation. It is the perfect combination to translate freehand strokes in real time and shape pixels with a maximum level of interaction.
