Stem, the “Infinite system” of Philippe Nigro, is characterized by a new evolution. It grows with agile and ever-changing combinations such as columns and shelves made of FSC certified wood, satin aluminum beams, containers made of micro-perforated metal sheet and new finishes. Stem becomes a console, a wall bookcase with seat, a “ground-ceiling” partition and benches for the living areas.

Manerba, a place to live.
A physical and mental habitat where you can work in harmony with facilitated relationships and acoustic comfort.

Place to live is an agile, happy and people-oriented environment.
This is Manerba proposal for 2020 and it is going to be presented during the “Milan Design City 2020”.

It is a space for the body and the mind which is flexible and dynamic, a mental gym and at the same time a nest of concentration.

It is a living and working environment organized for several and simultaneous activities where you can move from a workstation to another by using furniture and different spaces according to the activity to be accomplished.

It is an ecosystem of furniture and potential where the key words are initiative and individual resourcefulness.

Place to live by Manerba is a concept characterized by more and more hybrid and fluid areas where you can work, live and spend most of your free time.

Place to live is an open and shared habitat where, even while carrying out different activities, everyone can move and interact with others because they can feel part of a community by sharing common areas (relax areas or cafeterias) which are increasingly there and essential for well-being and productivity.

Place to live accomplishes functional and comfortable places, where people can easily isolate themselves for an important phone call, relax themselves for a moment and avoid the backache due to too many hours in front of the PC!

Place to live is characterized by a soft touch, it is pleasant to the eye and to the ear, practical as an office and comfortable as home.

Place to live is part of the Manerba vision for the future which, with the art direction of Federica Biasi and the involvement of new designers, looks for new models of workplace and homeworking.
With a particular focus on sustainability and green economy, in the design stage, Manerba has oriented its new products for the 2020 towards a simple, economic and sustainable design. The furniture pays attention to the use of recyclable materials, the durability over time, the concept of total separability of the components and the reduction of the environmental impact. This contributes also to the reduction of the transport volumes and the ease of the end-of-life disposal. FSC and ISO 14001 certificates confirm Manerba active participation in the responsible forest and environment management.
