Garden Senato Milano is a new 2300 sqm event venue resulting from the renovation of a garden inside a historical building in via Senato, fashion heart of Milan. Architect Alessandra Dalloli is the author of the idea, the architectural project and the artistic direction of Garden Senato.
The design of Garden Senato Milano was based on cohesion with the context, aesthetic sense and attention to detail, focus on accessibility and functionality, historical green preservation with the purpose of making the venue a green and accessible destination in the middle of Milan.
The walk with the architect is the first event planned to present to the public the “behind the scenes” of the space transformation process, the conversion from a private garden into an elegant and green venue suitable to host events. This is an experience dedicated to a specialized audience aiming to discover the building historical excursus related to Milan urbanistic history, to learn about the design and material choice made by the Architect Dalloli and the potentiality of an event venue accessible and en plain air.
The visit will bring visitors along a ring-shaped path starting from via Senato 14 entrance to the areas which composed Garden Senato Milano: the courtyard of honor with the elegant gallery, a glass covered area for exhibitions; the garden, the venue heart and a natural scenography with ancient trees, the fountain with bronze statue by Vincenzo Gemito, the stone temple also present in the nearby Villa Reale English garden and the pergola, a romantic and scenic element; the multifunctional room, a flexible and technological space perfect to suite conferences and demonstrations all year long.
