The fulcrum is the small but fundamental support about which a lever pivots. In our studio the fulcrum is the project: balanced between research, feasibility and awareness of the world we’re living in.
The format “Levers in Use” aims to tell short stories about daily objects featuring the clever lever’s mechanism.
Through a selection of examples we illustrate the elements that have contributed to the birth and evolution of both design and anonymous objects: ways of use, production techniques, gestures, or simply the necessity. Anecdotes for insiders and design lovers, to rediscover common objects from other points of view.
