Designers Jungok Kim

Jungok Kim(b.1957) is a potter who has been fascinated with working with clay for over 40 years. Her works are a modern reinterpretation of Korean traditional Buncheong.

Kim who cherishes free-spirited and lively expression draws images using the traditional Cheongwha technique or creates various patterns and shapes to display her unique world of ceramics. Her ceramic dishes of solid shapes and elegant lines, possessing great depth of color and texture, are classy tableware that fits the modern lifestyle.
