Designers Marco Gianotti

Exterior Designer - Hyundai Motor Europe Design Center (Rüsselsheim, Germania)

30 years old, Turin, since 2014 enrolled among Hyundai European Style Center "pencils".

Always interested in motors and cars, he has nurtured his passion since he was a child with the help of his father, a dealer of auto parts.

While he was still a student in Turin at IED – school chosen to combine his interest in cars with the passion for drawing and creativity – he signed the first sketches of PassoCorto, the concept car designed by the students of the Master in Transportation Design in collaboration with the European Style Center of Hyundai. Hyundai had entrusted the students with a design brief intended for a target of potential customers born between the 1980s and the early 2000s: young people always connected and 2.0 – the so-called "Generation Y". The designer of the first sketch then chosen to develop the car was Gianotti, who was then selected by Hyundai for a training internship at the European Style Center.

After 6 months of internship, Gianotti was hired and thus began his career in the European Style Center of Russenheim.  Gianotti has successfully dedicated himself to the exterior restyling of the brand new Hyundai i30 (just unveiled in world preview and arriving on Italian market in July 2020) – and even earlier to those of Tucson and the previous generation of i20, which will be replaced by the new model in September 2020.
