Rethinking social innovation and social inclusion
Design as disruptive element promoting social innovation and inclusion in Europe
Design can contribute to social change by addressing the social challenges faced every day. WORTH is a true believer that design can focus its attention not only on improving the look and functionality of products but on coming up with big and effective solutions resulting from envisaging consumers’ and sometimes specific collectives’ insights in-depth to tackle special needs. Design as a tool for social improvements requires the mindset on the design as the tool to enables solutions addressing the physical and psychological wellbeing comes into fruition. WORTH is pleased to present projects that lead to a healthier, more inclusive, comfortable, and more aesthetically pleasing environment for the users, producers and related communities. Rethinking social innovation and social inclusions is about rethinking how design tackles the cultural and generational change of the society and how it adds different ways of living, more connected, more inclusive and under the same social values. At the same time of FuoriSalone TV live video (12:00 PM), every day the protagonists of the projects will be available on Zoom to answer questions, curiosities and exchange experiences and visions.
