Designers Tiphaine Kazi-Tani

Tiphaine Kazi-Tani is a teacher and designer-researcher at the Cité du Design and the CoDesign Lab of Télécom-ParisTech, also associated with the curatorship of theBiennale Internationale Design 2017 and the French Pavilion of the 2019 Milan Triennial. 

 

Tiphaine's work focuses on minor or minority ways of doing design (queer, trans, on the margins of norms), which has led her to investigate transfeminist, anti-capitalist and environmental activists. 

 

The work has been presented at the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Gâité Lyrique, the IDB, the California College of The Arts, the Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers, etc. 

 

Tiphaine Kazi-Tani is currently associated with a European working group on radical pedagogies (Teaching To Transgress Toolbox).
